In February Steve was honored to play host at Still House Songwriters Night, a local writers round. Secretary and Mrs. Mike Pompeo, Senator and Mrs. Bill Hagerty, and Senator and Mrs. Jack Johnson were all in attendance for a night of live music, food, and community. Guests were entertained all evening by stories and songs from Leslie Satcher, Ron Block, Casey Beathard, Matt Jenkins, and Allan Shamblin. Held amidst a week of uncharacteristically turbulent Middle Tennessee winter weather, the patrons braved through intense conditions to arrive for a memorable night. The event was held at the Leipers Fork Distillery and was graciously hosted by its owner, Lee Kennedy.
